This box is a summary. The full text below is what applies.
1. No income is promised
The Lstand course teaches a method: how to source Google review stands, set them up, and sell them to local shops. It is education. We do not promise, guarantee or predict that you will make any sales, earn any amount, or earn back the $150 you paid for the course.
The refund window lets you try the course. It is not a guarantee of results. Nothing on this site, in the lessons or in our emails should be read as a promise of income.
2. What we know about typical results
We do not have data yet on what students of this course typically earn. The course is new, and we will not guess. When we have real numbers from enough students to mean something, we will publish them here, including the share who earned nothing.
Until then, assume what is true of courses about starting a business in general: earnings vary, this is a real business that takes work, and many people who buy such courses earn little or nothing. Often that is because they do not finish the lessons or do not go out and talk to shop owners.
3. What your results depend on
- How much time you put in, and for how long. Expect to walk into a lot of shops and hear "no" more often than "yes".
- Your prices, your costs, and the supplier you choose.
- Your town: how many suitable shops there are, and whether somebody already sells stands there.
- Your skills in talking to people, following up and looking after customers.
- Things nobody controls, such as changes to Google's products and policies, to phones, or to the wider economy.
Prior experience helps. We do not say that none is needed.
4. Numbers and examples on this site
Any arithmetic you see on this site, such as a stand price minus a stand cost, is an illustration. Where there is a calculator, it opens on an example and then uses the numbers you set. The result shows how the sums work. It is not a forecast and not a claim about what you or anybody else will earn.
If we ever state a figure from our own sales, it will carry a date, and we keep the records behind it on file.
5. Student stories
We only publish words from real students, with their permission. We never invent them. If a student got something from us in return, such as free access, we say so right next to their words.
One person's result is that person's result. It is not typical and it is not a prediction of yours. See what we know about typical results for what to expect in general.
6. Statements about the future
Anything we say about what could happen, such as how a market might grow or what a customer might pay, is our opinion at the time. It can turn out wrong. Do not rely on it as a forecast.
7. It costs money, and you can lose it
Starting this business takes money beyond the course: sample stands, stock, printing, travel and your time. You could spend that money and not earn it back. Only spend what you can afford to lose, and do not borrow to buy this course or to buy stock.
8. Not a business opportunity or a franchise
Lstand is a video course. It is not a business opportunity, a franchise, a distributorship or an investment. That means:
- we do not supply customers, leads, accounts, locations or a territory;
- we do not supply stands or stock, and we do not buy anything back from you;
- we take no share of your sales, and you owe us nothing after the one payment;
- the business you build is yours, under your own name. You are not our agent, partner or reseller.
9. Not affiliated with Google
Lstand is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC. Google, Google Maps and Google Business Profile are trademarks of Google LLC. We mention Google only to describe what the stands do: they open a shop's Google review form.
Google can change its products and rules at any time, and that can affect this business. Do not use Google's name or logo in your own business name, domain or branding, and do not tell shops that you or your stands are approved by Google.
10. The rules you have to follow
A stand on a counter that any customer can choose to tap is a fair way to ask for reviews. The business only works if you and the shops you sell to keep it that way. Google's review policies and the United States Federal Trade Commission's rule on consumer reviews and testimonials (16 CFR Part 465) both apply, along with the law where you live.
- Never pay for reviews. No money, discounts, free items, prize draws or anything else in return for a review, or for changing or removing one.
- Never filter who gets asked. Every customer gets the same invitation, happy or not. No screens that send unhappy customers somewhere else.
- Never pressure customers. Nobody should be made to review on the spot or told what to write, and staff should not be given review targets.
- Never post or arrange fake reviews, and do not review a business you have a stake in.
Breaking these rules can get a shop's reviews removed or its profile suspended, and can lead to fines. You are responsible for following them, as the terms say. Policies change, so read the current versions yourself.
11. Not legal, tax or financial advice
The course is general education. It is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and we do not know your situation. Speak to a qualified professional where you live before decisions that need one.
